How do quotes work?
A quote is not a confirmation of booking with Sunny Day Event Co. You are not considered booked until you have received and paid your invoice.
Quotes expire after 1 week of receiving the quote. This is because prices may fluctuate and the price of your project is not guaranteed until you have paid the full invoice or deposit.
What areas do you serve?
Sunny Day Event Co is based out of Lawrence, Kansas, and serves within a 65-mile radius of Sunny Day headquarters, we will not travel outside of this radius. This service area includes but is not limited to Douglas, Jefferson, Shawnee, Osage, Franklin, Miami, Johnson, and Leavenworth counties.
Do you have a delivery minimum?
Yes. In order for me to deliver and install balloons for you, Sunny Day has these order minimums that must be met:
Within Lawrence city limits = $300 Minimum
Within 1-35 Mile Radius of Lawrence = $400 Minimum
Within a 36-65 Mile Radius of Lawrence = $500 minimum
These minimums may be met with balloons or rental pieces and DO NOT include delivery fees or taxes.
What is your payment policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your event date and is due within 72 hours of receiving the invoice. A contract will be made and must be signed within 72 hours of receipt. Full payment is then due 72 hours before the delivery date (please note that deposits for weddings is different).
What is your cancellation policy?
The client must notify Sunny Day Event Co LLC of cancellation 72 hours in advance of scheduled service. Any payments made may be transferred to another event if services are canceled 72 hours in advance or earlier. If services are canceled within 72 of planned services, the 50% non-refundable deposit cannot be transferred to another date as the balloons have most likely been blown up and assembled.
Do you deliver?
Sunny Day delivers most balloon arrangements, but we do offer pickups for balloon garlands here.
I offer free delivery within Lawrence city limits and then $4 for every mile outside of Lawrence city limits.
Do you offer customization?
Yes!! You may choose the color/colors of your balloons and if a custom vinyl phrase is not listed in the product description, it will come at an added cost. It will also come at an added cost if you would like to add something like card stock or vinyl shapes (such as butterflies, dinosaurs, or fairies).
How long do balloons last?
Air-filled balloons can last for days and sometimes weeks if kept at room temperature. Extreme cold will cause balloons to droop and leak air, while extreme hot will cause balloons to pop.
Helium-filled balloons cannot be guaranteed a float time, but should expect to float between 10-12 hours.
If a balloon pops, will you replace it?
Balloons will only be replaced by Sunny Day Event Co. if they are accidentally popped by me and if time allows.
Sunny Day Event Co. is not held responsible if balloons are popped after drop off or installation. If time allows, I can replace balloons that I did not pop at an additional charge.
How far in advance do I need to book?
As soon as you can! If you have a date and a venue, I recommend booking immediately so we can start the design process!
How do you hang your balloon garlands?
I always recommend hanging a garland from an existing structure first. If no anchor points are available, I will use removable Command Hooks. If it is known before the event that there will be no anchor points are available, I highly recommend taking a look at our backdrop/rental options here.
