Deciding on a Balloon Budget
When deciding how much money you should spend on balloons can seem like the wild west and you’re smack dab in the middle. If you have no idea how much money you will potentially spend on balloons, here are some facts and tips to help!
First thing you should be aware of is Sunny Day’s pricing structure. In order for me, Shelby the owner, to come install for you the following minimums must be met:
$300 minimum for events within Lawrence, Kansas city limits.
$400 minimum for events 1-35 miles outside of Lawrence, Kansas city limits.
$500 minimum for events 36-65 miles outside of Lawrence, Kansas city limits.
These minimums can be met with balloons or rentals and DOES NOT include taxes or delivery fees. These minimums are in effect with all rental items.
Second thing you should be aware of is that like most balloon companies, Sunny Day has a delivery fee of $4 per mile outside of Lawrence city limits. So if your event is 20 miles outside of Lawrence, you will spend $80 just in delivery fees.
Third, if you do not have the budget to meet these minimums, don’t worry! I get that $300+ is a lot to spend on a party, so there are options!
You can purchase a balloon pickup item. These are items that you can purchase directly through our website, pickup, and install yourself! They also come at a discounted rate from balloons I install for you.
You can purchase a jumbo helium delivery. These are single, jumbo, helium balloons that will cost you a flat $77! Please note they are only available for delivery within Lawrence city limits and will be delivered by me! These are subject to availability.
